The noticable difference between bees and wasps when they sting is that the bee will release their stinger after penetration while the wasp will relocate and administer a second sting. African honey bees are a particularly aggressive type of bee that will attack, call in troops (suspectedly with a sent) & attemt to kill any animal in it's path. How To Identify & Deal With Bees & Wasps

Bees generally have what looks like fur from their abdomen down. Wasps are typically more smooth and notably elongated. Both the sting of a bee and the sting of a wasp can cause allergic reaction. In the event of a sting, remove the stinger if still present using the side of a business card or credit card in a razor shave motion focusing on not pinching the stinger.
